QUIETUDE
How
wordlessly a garden blooms,
how silent is the bird's swift flight;
how quiet is the dawn's rebuke
to all the arrogance of night!
In quietude of prayer profound
the heart of Love is humbly sought;
and glory, far transcending sound,
unfolds within the seeking thought.
