I wish to express gratitude to God for the many healings that I have experienced through my study of Christian Science.

My first physical healing was that of a severely sprained ankle, which occurred at the factory where I work. The pain was severe, but I immediately applied "the scientific statement of being" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 468) and many other truths that I had learned from the Bible and from Science and Health.

About four o'clock that afternoon I came home and studied the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly. Our little girl noticed my ankle, for it was swollen to almost twice the normal size, and she called her mother's attention to it. They wanted to know what had happened, and they lovingly offered to bathe and take care of the ankle, but I told them that it was already being taken care of through my mental work.
