After reading the testimonies of healing in The Christian Science Journal and giving as usual my deep thanks to God for the experiences so lovingly sent from many parts of the world, I questioned myself, "Why have I omitted to send my offering?" I realized that it is not enough to leave this good work entirely for others to do; I must do likewise.

Prior to my knowing anything of Christian Science I had frequent hemorrhages of the nose. During my first complete reading of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, an attack of this condition was instantaneously healed, and there have been no more attacks. A few weeks later tonsillitis cleared up when I spent two hours reading the textbook.

After one treatment by a Christian Science practitioner glasses, which for sixteen years had been constantly used because of farsightedness and astigmatism, were no longer needed. This healing of nearly twenty years ago has been permanent. A broken toe was restored to normalcy in three days without material means or interruption of my daily activities. Influenza and bronchial catarrh were healed quickly and completely.
