Christian Science has been my comforter and only physician for many years, and it has brought many healings and other blessings to me. The greatest of my blessings has been that of learning to read the Bible understanding, and thus gaining a true conception of God and of man's relationship to Him. My unwavering reliance on God resulted in the healing of a severely burned foot. This healing was slow, but I am humbly grateful for the growth in understanding I gained during the period in which it was taking place.

A very discordant condition in our family circle was quickly corrected with the loving help of a practitioner and my study of the following passages in the Bible: "I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly" (Ps. 85:8), and, "When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him" (Prov. 16:7).

At one time I was stricken with streptococcic throat. It came on so suddenly and severely that I became fearful of losing consciousness. I asked my husband to call a practitioner, and he did so. In about twenty minutes I fell asleep. Some three hours later I awakened with the thought, as clear as if it had been voiced. This is the end of error. The next morning I arose perfectly free, and that was the end of the throat difficulty.
