"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house" (Mal. 3:10). A testimony of mine was published in the Sentinel many years ago, and the healings stated therein have been permanent. My heart is so full of gratitude for all that God has done for me that I must again share my blessings through our periodicals.

Christian Science came to me in 1913, when I went to work in the home of a student of this religion. Because of my early teaching it was some time before I discovered that the real man does not have to struggle up to God, but that he is actually God's expression now. As the teachings of Christian Science became clearer to me, I joined The Mother Church and later had class instruction.

One day I was preparing to attend a meeting of the executive board of our church. The recognition that man is the child of God filled my heart with joy. While I was walking rapidly downhill, a man who was delivering groceries in a wooden box suddenly appeared from a gateway I was passing, and we collided, the corner of the box striking me in the chest. For a moment I gasped for breath, but I was able to assure the man that I was not injured. At no time was there any pain, and there were no bruises. Much joy flooded my thought, for I knew the truth I had been thinking had helped me "to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord" (II Cor. 5:8).
