It is difficult for me to express in words my gratitude for Christian Science. After suffering for more than twenty-five years from what had been diagnosed by physicians as ulcers of the stomach, constipation, and hyperacidity, I was healed in one treatment by a Christian Science practitioner. An open sore on my ankle of eleven years' standing was healed at the same time. These healings took place about seven years ago and have remained permanent. I now enjoy certain foods that for many years I was not permitted to eat.

I was so overjoyed at my newfound freedom that immediately after my healing I bought Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and began in earnest the study of the wonderful religion it sets forth. The only way I could express my gratitude was to become active in Christian Science. I joined The Mother Church and a branch church and am enjoying activities on several committees, one of them formed to hold Christian Science services in a penal institution.

Class instruction with a consecrated teacher was a great joy. My hope is that I may continue to serve Christian Science and in that way show my gratitude to God for His goodness.—Will Fields, Brooklyn, New York.
