THE PERFECT WHOLE

God sees the volume; we, the single sheet.
God sees the fabric, seamless and complete,
When single threads are all that mortal eyes
Or mortal hands can grasp and recognize.

What need to fear, when only good is planned,
When only good is compassed by His hand?
We should be still, in quietness of soul
Alert to glimpse the pattern's perfect whole.
