FROM ANNUAL REPORTS OF CHRISTIAN SCIENCE COMMITTEES ON PUBLICATION

Protect Rights of Our Young People

An encouraging experience occurred at Iowa State College in Ames. A cancer film was shown and a request made that all students in the college attend the showing.

The dean of the college was interviewed, and reasons were given him as to why students of Christian Science should be excused. Exemptions were granted to all those who made the request on religious grounds, and the dean asked that he be supplied with Christian Science literature.

Increasing recognition of the rights of Christian Scientists in these schools is being acknowledged, and continued effort will be made to further this recognition.
