Many of us are helped in our pathway from sense to Soul through experiences related by others. With this thought in mind I should like to relate something of my own experience.

I am grateful for the deeper understanding of God's law of healing, which I gained through the overcoming of trials and tribulations. From childhood I had endeavored to obtain relief from a periodic nervous disorder by using every sort of material means. Eventually I was told that materia medica could offer me no relief. I then turned wholeheartedly to God and to the study of Christian Science. Immediately I began to experience healings and the wonderful protection of divine Love. As I learned to be more humble and loving, day by day my pathway became more joyous.

However, the physical condition persisted. Year after year I sought to be healed of this disorder. I was tempted times without number to yield to other means for help, but I did not do so because I had learned to place my confidence in God to heal me. I learned to be grateful for the benefits I was gaining through my faithful study of Christian Science, endeavoring to wait patiently on God and trying to apply to the best of my ability the yardstick of love to my every thought and action.
