My heart overflows with gratitude...

My heart overflows with gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for Christian Science. Just after the birth of our-first child I became quite ill with a gall bladder condition. I had seen my husband and others healed of various illnesses by Christian Science; so I asked a practitioner to help me. I had instantaneous relief from pain, and in a very short time I was completely healed. The following statement in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy was held to and always gave me the courage I needed when things seemed severe (p. 14): "We cannot 'serve two masters.' To be 'present with the Lord' is to have, not mere emotional ecstasy or faith, but the actual demonstration and understanding of Life as revealed in Christian Science. To be 'with the Lord' is to be in obedience to the law of God, to be absolutely governed by divine Love,—by Spirit, not by matter."

We have had four children since then, and all of them have been born under Christian Science treatment. The practitioner's work took care of everything necessary for a harmonious birth.

All our children have had healings and attend a Christian Science Sunday School, where they are learning of man's relationship to God. The freedom our family has enjoyed from errors of all sorts has been noticed by many.
