Sincere gratitude urges me to write this testimony to the power of Truth as revealed in Christian Science. One of our daughters was healed of bronchial asthma through this Science. It took some years to establish this healing, but the loving help of a practitioner many times sustained and guided us. Lessons were learned for which I am now very grateful because they brought spiritual progress. God was seen as Father-Mother, good, and this truth eliminated a false sense of responsibility. Later the report of a school medical examination of this girl quickened my sense of gratitude; the doctor said, "The steady action of the heart and the deep breathing were a joy to hear."

Our son was healed of bone trouble in the leg. Owing to school rules in our locality, a doctor was consulted, who deemed an operation essential. Work was immediately taken up by a Christian Science practitioner, however, and the boy and I endeavored to study in obedience to all that was asked of us. Two weeks later, when another examination was made by a doctor at the request of the school, we had great joy in hearing him say, " The bone is healed," and the X ray confirmed this statement.

I was healed of a severe attack of sciatica; and a harmonious childbirth was also experienced. More recently a problem of supply was solved. When my husband applied for the position he now holds, he was at first refused on account of his age and medical category. Metaphysical work was done by a practitioner, with the result that my husband was considered capable in even way to fill the position. A sense of grief and resentment was quickly healed for me when a dear one passed on. Christian Science is indeed the Comforter.
