OBEDIENCE
The
lambs, they want for mother-love.
The sheep a gentle touch.
The weakened knees a firm support;
The Word is needed much.
Laying aside all personal sense,
Trusting to God alone,
Knowing my oneness with the source
Of everlasting love,
Paeans of praise to God I raise
That He has heard my call.
Humbly and lovingly at His feet
I place my earthly all.
