My gratitude for the countless blessings I have received through the study and application of Christian Science impels me to submit this testimony for publication.

I was healed of the need of wearing glasses early in my study of Christian Science. A badly ulcerated tooth, which was very painful and had caused a swollen condition of the entire right side of my face, was healed in one treatment given by a Christian Science practitioner. A dentist had previously told me that there was no possibility of my saving the tooth. Both of these healings took place more than twenty years ago, and both of them have been permanent.

Another healing was that of a shoulder dislocation, which had become a chronic condition. I was told by physicians that an operation was imperative, since the socket and ligaments holding the arm in place were so badly worn, due to the frequency of the dislocation, that soon the arm could not be held in place at all. I refused to accept this verdict, for I knew that I could be healed in Christian Science. However, there was much pain and fear to be overcome.
