Gratitude for the many blessings which have come to me and mine through the application of Christian Science prompts me to send this testimony.

One day I opened my Bible prayerfully to this passage (II Chron. 1:10): "Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?" I closed my Bible and humbly prayed for wisdom to carry on the responsibility of caring for my children. In a few days Christian Science was presented to me. I veritably devoured the contents of its textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and was healed of a nervous breakdown. Also an ingrown toenail, which had bothered me for twenty years, was healed without any specific work.

Through the study of Science and Health I was healed of the false desire to pass on, becoming filled with a desire to live and to glorify God. A sad, haggard face turned to one of joyousness, and after this experience friends, who did not know of my new interest in Christian Science remarked that they had never before seen such a change in anyone.
