With a heart full of gratitude I wish to tell of the help I received when our little girl was born. The doctor at the hospital where I went to have the baby had predicted that the birth would have to be Caesarean for several reasons. Work in Christian Science was taken up by a practitioner, and this prediction was annulled. The birth was perfectly normal, and everything went so harmoniously that the baby and I were released from the hospital on the third day. The words of Isaiah were so helpful to me (65:23),"They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them."

Later, at a time when the child did not want to eat, work was taken up by a practitioner, and she resumed normal eating.

A facial burn which did not heal and which had been diagnosed as a possible cancer was healed in two treatments by a Christian Science practitioner.
