Although I am not a member of the Church of Christ, Scientist, I wish to express my love and gratitude to our heavenly Father for Christian Science, and to Mrs. Eddy, who labored so long to give us this truth. In measured time, I am over ninety years old, and I know that it is through this Science that I have enjoyed length of days.

At the age of seventy-nine I was healed of a broken arm in one treatment by a Christian Science practitioner. Later the doctors told my daughter that I had six weeks to live; but with the help of a practitioner I was enabled to leave for California to make my home, traveling by automobile. Since then I have traveled about a hundred thousand miles by automobile, including two trips across the country. One of them was to Boston; I visited all the places dear to Christian Scientists, and those who were with me did not have to stop for me to rest. One trip of eighty-five hundred miles was made in one month.

In the ensuing years I have been protected and have kept well, not having had to spend one day in bed. At one time I was knocked down by an automobile that was backing into a parking lot, but I was not hurt. I have fallen downstairs, and have not been hurt. I am grateful for this protection, the result of my application of the truth.
