Words cannot express adequately my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for the good that has resulted from her unswerving devotion to her discovery of Christian Science and her founding of the Christian Science movement. Her inspired writings are wells of wisdom and comfort wherein those who seek will find joyous prosperity and healing.

Over a period of years I have experienced many healings from my own application of Christian Science and also with the aid of loving practitioners. An outstanding one to me was the healing of extreme physical exhaustion, resulting in a complete breakdown. Because of the position I then held, it was necessary for me to be examined by a specialist, who diagnosed part of the trouble as arteriosclerosis.

During the following six months, while I was intensively studying the Bible and the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, with the hope of healing and of taking class instruction in Christian Science, I gradually regained my normal weight. An arthritic condition, which had been considered a contributory cause of the breakdown, as well as other troublesome conditions, cleared up.
