During the many years that I have been a student of Christian Science I have experienced numerous blessings, and I am deeply grateful for all of them. My introduction to Christian Science came at the time when our son had infantile paralysis. A friend, hearing of his illness, called one evening, and as she left, she handed me a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and said that she was sure that if I would read it, I would find much comfort.

I spent many hours reading this book, and when it was necessary to put it down, I could scarcely wait to get back to it. Before long I noticed a lessening of the fear that I had been holding over our son; and at this point his condition began to improve.

I soon discontinued all medicine and material appliances for myself and the children. Our son continued to improve, and it was not long before he and his sister began to attend the Christian Science Sunday School. I shall never forget the first Sunday that we attended the church. As we entered the foyer, I saw on the wall the inscription, "God is love," and a great sense of peace flooded my consciousness. I thought, "I believe that some day this church will be my church." How thankful I am that this has proved true!
