THERE ARE NO MISTAKES IN DIVINE MIND

To feel that we have made a mistake about something important or that we are the victims of unfortunate circumstances and as a result unhappiness or failure must be experienced, is a state of thought most undesirable and a burden we do not need to bear. This state of thinking, with its attendant discordant effects in our lives, can be corrected by the utilization of the spiritual truths taught in Christian Science.

This Science, which is based on the inspired Word of the Bible, teaches that God, divine Life, Truth, Mind, and Love, is omnipotent and omnipresent and that the man of God's creating enjoys freedom, success, and peace as his natural state. In the first chapter of Genesis we read (26, 31): "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. ... And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good."

All discord has therefore but a false claim to reality; it is the mist referred to in the second chapter of Genesis, and it disappears from our experience when we clearly realize God's allness and the consequent nothingness of error.
