In looking back over my life and recalling how much good I have been privileged to experience in Christian Science, I cannot refrain from expressing my gratitude to God, as well as to Mrs. Eddy for giving us Christian Science.

As a child I loved to read the Bible, and often in times of distress I sought and found comfort in the Word of God. This practice prepared me for the acceptance of Christian Science. I have found the study of the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly particularly helpful.

I am grateful to God for the loving and patient friends who have helped me apply Christian Science successfully to various problems. Again and again many beautiful proofs that good is everywhere present have encouraged me to seek salvation in God alone. Joyously I recall the overcoming of an inferiority complex, the healings of digestive disturbances, colds, and angina. The last-named difficulty disappeared in a few days with the help of a practitioner.
