As I have been enjoying God's goodness through the study and application of Christian Science for more than fifty years, I should like to add my word of praise and thanksgiving to Him for the blessings I have received and for the peace of mind that Christian Science has given me.

At an early age I witnessed the wonderful healing within twenty-four hours of my mother of tuberculosis. This healing introduced our family to Christian Science. Later my father was freed in two weeks of the liquor habit, which he had had since he was a young man.

One of the many healings of my own was of diphtheria. I had not swallowed anything for three days, and the people in the home where I was staying were very fearful and wanted me to have a doctor. In two days through the help of a Christian Science practitioner I was healed and able to go downstairs to a hearty dinner. There were no aftereffects.
