In expressing her gratitude for membership in The Mother Church, and also that of her husband, a new member writes:

"We both feel that this has been the grandest step we have ever decided upon, for it has been the means of completely changing the pattern of our daily living, with what we call the new outlook. In 'Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures' by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 326) a statement reads: 'Then the man was changed. Thought assumed a nobler outlook, and his life became more spiritual.' This is just what has happened to us, as Christian Science reveals life's true meaning."

Applicants are admitted to membership twice each year by The Christian Science Board of Directors. The next date of admission is June 1, 1951, and applications must reach the Clerk on or before May 1, 1951. However, to allow time for possible correspondence, applications with their accompanying questionnaires should be forwarded without delay.
