It has been my privilege to be a Christian Scientist all my life, and many are the blessings I have experienced. Provision for a college education unfolded in the face of limited material means, and abundant health, opportunities, and protection have been demonstrated. Following the last world war my husband and I were three times led to pleasant, adequate housing during a period when there seemed nothing either to buy or to rent. Ultimately, when there remained just two weeks on our lease of a rented house, we were led in an unexpected way to the purchase of our present house, which has met our every need. Much loving help was given us by a practitioner, who reminded us to acknowledge the perfection and ever-presence of divine consciousness, which is man's environment; and the gracious unfoldment of supply was a great lesson to us.

For the joyful and harmonious births of our two children, I am most grateful. Three months prior to the birth of the second baby I lost my footing and fell two stories to the ground. I was conscious of no impact and declared instantly, "God is here, and His child has not fallen." Then I arose and went into the house. A practitioner was called and came to see me at once. She assured me that man can never fall from God's loving protection. Her joyousness was most inspiring, and the audible declaration of man's unity with God quieted every fear. There was no soreness, no bruise or shock, but rather an increased awareness of divine Love's ever-presence.

Beautiful to me, also, is the new concept of self which the study of Christian Science is unfolding to me. This knowledge is overcoming mortal mind arguments of fear, doubt, depression, and unrest. On page 574 of the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, is the statement, "The very circumstance, which your suffering sense deems wrathful and afflictive, Love can make an angel entertained unawares." This has helped me many times when a mesmeric sense would bind and oppress. Through prayer and study the "angel entertained unawares" has always been realized.
