Greater Respect For Convictions Of Christian Scientists

We are happy to report that an ever-increasing number of Christian Scientists throughout the state are claiming exemption from all physical examinations for their children attending elementary and secondary schools.

Exemption is also being granted more readily from the objectionable health and hygiene courses, and in particular from that part dealing with the teaching of diseases and their symptoms. We are very desirous of assisting in this regard and take this opportunity of encouraging Christian Scientists to take a firm stand against physical examinations, recognizing that there is no room for them in our worship of God.
