It is over twenty years since I first heard of Christian Science, and words cannot express the gratitude that my family and I have for all our blessings and for the loving help of our Father-Mother God in times of need.

A few years ago I suffered a broken ankle. I was living with my daughter, and as she was away all day and there was no one to look after me, I was taken to the hospital. Before I left, my three granddaughters, who attend the Christian Science Sunday School, came to me and said, "Grannie, we have been praying for you and thanking God for making you perfect." When I arrived at the hospital that evening the doctor said he would not set the ankle until the next day, after an X ray had been taken. When he saw the X ray, he said he would not need to touch the ankle, as the bone had set perfectly. It was predicted that I would never walk again, but I knew that there are no accidents in divine Mind, so there was nothing to present a complete healing and my walking again. I do not even limp, and I am over threescore years and ten.

I am also grateful for the wonderful way Christian Science helped me during the time of financial difficulties after my husband had passed on and I was left with four children to care for. This was twenty-seven years ago, and our father has taken care of us through all these years.
