I should sincerely like to express...

I should sincerely like to express my deepest gratitude for a beautiful healing I had through Christian Science. I was suffering from a complete nervous breakdown of years' standing. However, thanks to God and His revelation of Christian Science, which Mary Baker Eddy gave to mankind, and the love and devotion of a dear relative, I slowly gained a clearer sense of Life and of health and beauty. I learned to be more consecrated in my study and every day spent many hours with those beloved and life-giving books, the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.

Oh, the joy I experienced when I looked out from my mental window and saw things in a new light! The Christ had indeed given me "beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, ... the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified" (Isa. 61:3), for previously nothing but empty space and vagueness were present to my darkened thought.

Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to the practitioner and all my friends who encouraged me along the dark path, which has been made to blossom as the rose.— (Mrs.) Olive Mitchell Spencer, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
