Christian Science means much to me, and it is with humble gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, and to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, that I give this testimony.

Many blessings have come to me through the study and application of this Science. One was the healing of a severe stomach ailment, which periodically caused me intense internal pain and incapacitated me for my daily work. Although I was not a student of Christian Science at this time, I had attended the church services with my mother, who was a devout student, and I knew somewhat of the teachings of Science.

As my physical condition grew worse, upon the advice of business associates and friends I consulted a highly reputable medical clinic in one of our large eastern cities. After X rays and examinations were made, I was told a major operation was necessary at once. It was then that I was confronted with the problem of relying on materia medica or turning to Christian Science. How grateful I am that my choice was Christian Science! As a result of the loving help of relatives and the consecrated work of a Christian Science practitioner the condition was completely and permanently healed. This experience occurred over ten years ago. I might add that the tobacco habit of many years' standing also completely disappeared.
