Christian Science came into our home over thirty ears ago, and I can truly say that when we have adhered strictly to its teachings, it has never failed us. We have had healings of lack and of many physical ailments.

Our daughter was a baby when we began this study and has known no other method of healing. When she was in the second grade at school, her teacher told me that when she was called upon to speak in the classroom she seemed unable to utter a word. She wanted me to take her to a doctor to find out what was causing the trouble; instead, I asked help from a Christian Science practitioner. Each morning before the child left for school, I read parts of the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly to her and had her repeat them after me. There were times when she seemed unable to speak, but in less than two weeks she was completely healed, and the healing has been permanent.

Christian Science helped this daughter to find her work as a schoolteacher at a time when there seemed to be more teachers than positions. She is now a member of The Mother Church.
