Those who have had even a glimmer of Truth through the study of Christian Science, as given to us by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, will find there is nothing to equal this peace "which passeth all understanding."

During the time when gasoline was being rationed, we moved to a community that did not have a Christian Science church; and rather than keep the children out of Sunday School, we sent them to an orthodox Sunday School, and I gave up my membership in the Christian Science church to join the neighborhood church.

It was a year or so later that our eighteen-months-old daughter had a slight accident. I called a Christian Science practitioner, and work was begun. There was a great deal of outside comment because I failed to call the local doctor. On the third day the baby became very listless and was running a high temperature. I tried to reach the practitioner, but she had already left to attend a Wednesday evening testimony meeting.
