I have been a Christian Scientist for over thirty years, and with deep gratitude I can say that I have seen many healings. My purpose at this time is to express gratitude for the healing of a near nervous breakdown. I am most grateful for the faithful work of a Christian Science practitioner during this experience. The work was so well done that I did not have to lose a single day at my work. No one, except my husband, knew that anything was bothering me.

One night I went fearfully to the telephone and informed the practitioner that I felt I was passing on. We talked together for a little while, and then I said: "I know that I have nothing to be afraid of; I am positive that I have nothing to fear. Then why am I afraid? Why am I so terrified?" The practitioner answered, "That is the inconsistency of error."

A few days later as I was writing to the practitioner, who lived in another state, I became aware of the inconsistencies of the many descriptions and symptoms I had set down. I tore up the letter and took a post card. On it I wrote, "All is well with me." And immediately it was! I had realized the truth of man's relationship to God as His perfect image and likeness, and I was free! Every phase of the lie of nervous breakdown was instantly healed.
