I wish to express my gratitude to God and to Mrs. Eddy for her wonderful teaching—Christian Science. I have had many healings, and I am truly grateful for them, especially for the healing of fear and distrust of people. It took me many years to become free from this error. I had to learn to understand man's real nature and to separate the error from my thought of man.

As I learned to love rather than to fear persons, my supply increased and many problems were solved. Through learning more about God's perfect children I gained a higher and more harmonious concept of home. As Mrs. Eddy expresses it in our textbook (Science and Health, p. 58), "Home is the dearest spot on earth, and it should be the centre, though not the boundary, of the affections."

Some time ago the back of my right hand accidentally hit the blades of an electric fan, which cut deep into the flesh between the fingers. Many stitches had to be taken, but no medicine was used. The nurse who assisted me intimated that it would be several months before I would be able to use the hand again. I am thankful to say that with the help of a practitioner, the bleeding stopped with-in ten minutes, and in eight days the flesh was healed, with not a trace of stiffness.
