We have experienced the healing power of Christian Science in our home and also the peace and harmony which come from reliance on God and the study of the divinely inspired works on Christian Science by Mary Baker Eddy.

A painful sinus condition which had lasted almost steadily for three days was healed while I was reading an article in The Christian Science Journal on the nothingness of matter, which was referred to me by a practitioner.

While my husband was at his work, a heavy steel pipe fell on his foot. The arch became swollen and painful, and he could barely step on his foot. The practitioner whom I called said that this condition could be met instantly and that my husband would be back at his place of duty in the morning. We read from the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, studying especially the definition of man on page 475 and "the scientific statement of being," on page 468. In the morning when my husband arose, it seemed as though he had never had such an experience, for the foot was in good condition. He was happy and grateful for the healing.
