I did not take up the study of Christian Science with the object of obtaining physical healing, though I was much in need of it, but because I found it difficult to reconcile myself to a change of living necessitated by my husband's retirement from government service. Disappointment at having left relatives and friends in an inland town was hard to overcome, but a testimony given in a branch church by someone experiencing a similar difficulty, who stated that she found her real home was in divine consciousness, helped me very much. I am glad to say that for many years now I have had a harmonious home with adequate supply for maintaining it.

Study in Christian Science was continued, and many healings have been received by me and my dear ones through loving help of practitioners and my own understanding of this truth. Much protection was experienced by those at home and by those who served during the war years, and for this and for all the blessings received since taking up the study of Christian Science I am truly grateful.

I should like to express my gratitude for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church and for the privilege of having served in the latter, also for class instruction, and for all the help I have received from practitioners and friends. I have found our literature of great assistance and am grateful to God for His love for us and for His revelation of the truth through Christ Jesus and our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy.—(Mrs.) May Harrison, Durban, Natal, South Africa.
