Signs of the Times
The Rev. Robert G. Longaker in the Cranford Citizen and Chronicle New Jersey
Peace is the subject of our day, because we know that peace is imperative. We must learn to live together in this world.
The hopeful note about it all is that there is deep-seated conviction in the lives of the people of this world that we can learn to live together; peace is possible. Yet, after all the hopeful notes have been struck, we still continue to look in vain for the signs of the dawn of peace on earth. How has peace managed to evade a world that is searching so desperately to find it?
