THE HORSE AND THE MULE
One day a Christian Science chaplain stopped to talk to a young pilot sitting under his plane at an airfield in Africa. "I'm afraid we shall not have much in common," said the young officer. "You see, I'm a doubter."
"Then we shall have much in common," replied the chaplain, "for I am a doubter also."
"You do not understand," returned the young man. "I'm a skeptic, a disbeliever."
