SUPPLY
There is infinite supply, and it is available for all mankind. Spirit is its source, and the real man, being the image and likeness of his Maker, exists at the very basis of the ever-flowing supply of God and forever expresses the manifold abundance of this supply.
Through the advent of Christian Science in the world men are slowly finding out that there is only one law of supply, and that it is spiritual, not material. As students of Christian Science we are learning that in reality we are governed by this spiritual law of abundance and seeing it enforced in our human affairs. We become aware of our rich inheritance as the sons of God and rejoice in the opportunity to prove that no human condition or circumstance can interfere with our infinite supply of good. We learn to turn from mortal mind and matter and seek supply in Spirit. True supply never fluctuates. It is wherever we are; we possess it by reflection, and we can demonstrate it.
The demonstration of supply involves a great deal more than the healing of the belief of financial lack. It includes becoming conscious of everything that God bestows upon man, His expression. The realization of this demonstrates the supply that covers all human needs. The prophet Elisha proved the abundance of God in many ways when he demonstrated supply for the woman with the pot of oil, as recorded in II Kings 4:1–7. The oil was lacking in quantity. The woman lacked faith and the means to meet her obligations. The sons lacked freedom. The creditors lacked security. But Elisha must have seen the situation through spiritual sense and glimpsed the truth that everything real already existed in Mind. As we demonstrate the abundant supply of true thoughts that Mind gives, we shall find that the law of supply is ever operative and irresistibly effective in all the affairs of daily living.
