When the light of Christian Science...

When the light of Christian Science came into my life over sixty years ago, it was like a candle shining in a darkened room, and the light has grown brighter each succeeding years as the truth has been more fully realized.

After much prayerful study, and with the help of a consecrated practitioner, I was healed of asthma after twenty years of suffering. The healing was complete, and the condition has never returned. I have been an active Christian Scientist, a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church, and I have also had the privilege of class instruction. My experience of teaching in the Christian Science Sunday School has been a happy one, and I have been a subscriber to the periodicals since their first publication.

In my ninety-ninth year I am well, happy, and full of the joy of living. In the words of a loved hymn (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 46),
