LETTERS TO THE PRESS from Christian Science Committees on Publication

Gloucestershire Echo

Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Gloucestershire Echo

It is a cause for gratitude to see that the subject of spiritual healing is receiving such prominence in your paper, and I have read with interest the article on the subject by a clergyman. I should be grateful if you would allow me space to reply to the remarks of the reverend gentleman with regard to the teachings of Christian Science.

The writer of the article states, "Spiritual healing has nothing in common with Christian Science, although the Church owes much to Christian Scientists for emphasizing the art of divine healing so manifest in the Gospels, but lost later when medical science became specialized."
