Early one Sunday morning I awakened very ill, and a member of the family telephoned a practitioner for help for me. I fell asleep and was awakened by the closing of the door as the family left for church. I arose and dressed with some effort, silently declaring that man as an idea of Mind is always in his right place, that this was true regardless of the evidence of the material senses. As I left the house an acquaintance offered me a ride. I arrived in church on time and taught my Sunday School class. By late afternoon I was completely well.

Since early childhood I have had the benefit of Christian Science. When a young man, my husband took up the study of Christian Science, and our children have known nothing else. Often we see the evi dence of the preventive, as well as the curative, power of Christian Science.

Our son and daughter through the teaching received in the Christian Science Sunday School often help themselves and us. Coming in from coasting one winter day, our son, then six years old, was feverish and glassy-eyed, and he complained of a pain in his head. I asked him if he had not learned that "God saw every thing that he had made, and behold, it was very good" (Gen. 1:31). He replied that he had. He acknowledged the allness and goodness of God. He also acknowledged that God did not make error and therefore it was not real. After voicing these simple truth, he fell into a sound sleep, awaking well and happy.
