A deep and sincere gratitude for Christian Science and all the blessings it brings impels me to submit this testimony for publication.
Christian Science first came into my experience in Calcutta in 1946, when a business associate asked my opinion on extracts from our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which he was reading at the time.
For thirty-six years I have read the testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals, and they have been a great inspiration and support to me, and my testimony is submitted with the hope that it will be helpful to others.
I am grateful to testify that in my experience human problems of almost every description have been solved through Christian Science.
When the light of Christian Science came into my life over sixty years ago, it was like a candle shining in a darkened room, and the light has grown brighter each succeeding years as the truth has been more fully realized.
Christian Science has been my only religion and physician.
I became interested in Christian Science about twenty-five years ago after attending a lecture.
Early one Sunday morning I awakened very ill, and a member of the family telephoned a practitioner for help for me.
"To be every whit whole, man must be better spiritually as well as physically".
I should like to tell of an experience I had at one time.
