As a recent item in your paper regarding a rummage sale may have given some of your readers a wrong impression regarding Christian Science activities, I should appreciate your allowing space for this letter.
The Christian Science Reading Rooms are not used for rummage sales or for any purpose other than that for which they were established. They are maintained by branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, for the purpose of providing a place where anyone interested may without charge read authorized Christian Science literature. This literature may also be purchased at the Reading Rooms if desired.
