Decision to give more dissolves dream of lack

I should like to express my deep gratitude for the abundant e of good that has come into my life through the study and application of Christian Science. When I first heard of this Science, my home was a most unhappy one; poverty and misery of many kinds were there. Science brought courage, hope, and joy to me, as well as a very different outlook on life.

Later on, the apparent cause of the trouble was removed from the home: but this placed a heavy financial burden on my shoulders, as I then became responsible for my mother and two younger brothers and for the upkeep of the home. This meant a great struggle, and it appeared almost impossible to make ends meet. Then one day a special need arose, and at last I woke up. I was claiming that wonderful name, "Christian Scientist." but was I using the truth practically in my life? I saw that the lie of lack and limitation must be broken in my own thinking and mental doors must be opened in order that the bountiful goodness of God, already bestowed on man, might be made manifest in my experience.

Mrs. Eddy's messages in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 307) came clearly to me: "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for to-morrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help: and if you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment." I determined to trust all to God, divine Love.
