Grateful for many healings, including that of cancer

I have been interested in Christian Science for over thirty years and have experienced many healings. One day about three years ago, after I had suffered severe pain for several days, the condition grew worse, and I was unable to go down to the dining room. Since I live in a home for aged women, where there are naturally rules and regulations to be adhered to, the physician for the home was called in. After examining me he told the matron that the trouble was another case of cancer. One of the women had been operated on for this trouble only a short time before and had since passed on.

Knowing that I was a Christian Scientist, the matron kindly telephoned to a Christian Science friend of mine for advice, since I could no longer stay in the home. A practitioner was called immediately, and after a few days arrangements were completed for me to enter the Christian Science Benevolent Association Sanatorium in Chestnut Hill. I spent six weeks in that delightful atmosphere, where no discordant note was ever sounded.

My gratitude for Christian Science and for this added proof that there is no power apart from God is unbounded, and I shall never cease to be grateful for the faithful work of the practitioner during those weeks. I returned to the home a well woman, and there has been no further cause for anxiety for my well-being on the part of those in the home.
