Science removes effects of fall down steps onto concrete

For years I was seeking for something, because I was dissatisfied with the religion in which I had been raised. One Wednesday evening I passed a small church and decided to go in, just through curiosity, knowing that it was a Christian Science Society. As I listened to the readings, then the testimonies, a feeling of happiness and home came over me, and I knew I had found the truth, for which I had been looking all the time.

I got in touch with a practitioner, and she taught me how to study the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. Then I began to live and enjoy life. Up to that time I had been under the doctor's care almost constantly from the time I was three months old. Later I became a Christian Science nurse, and in my experience I have seen many healings.

At one time when I was doing the family laundry, I missed a step on the way to the basement and fell five or six steps, landing on the concrete floor on my head and one side. I was dazed for a minute, but I finished my work. However, in a few minutes I had a big lump on my head, and my ribs were very painful. Three days later I got a permanent wave at the hairdresser's, for my head was healed, It was time to attend my association meeting, and despite quite a lot of soreness in the ribs and some torn ligaments I made the two-hundred-mile trip with no inconvenience on account of the condition, and I came home healed and rejoicing. The healing was brought about by the work of a faithful practitioner, as well as my own work.
