Love is always adequate. Disease and grief healed

Christian Science has been my guiding light for many years. When the way has been darkest, this Science has never left me helpless when faithfully followed. It has healed me of many diseases, the names of which I have not known. Various faults of disposition have been corrected; the long-standing desire for tobacco and coffee has disappeared, and I no longer use either one; and I have been protected in railroad accidents.

My darkest hour came to me in 1946 at the passing on of my companion of more than fifty-nine years. With the help of a practitioner, my sorrow was eased. Since then Christian Science has been my most constant comfort and support.

In 1920 I was led to join The Mother Church in Boston. This membership has been a wonderful help to me. Mrs. Eddy's statement (Science and Health, p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need," has proved to be a great help to me in many ways. My crowning experience came to me when in 1948 I was led to take class instruction. This, together with the association meeting, filled my cup of joy to the brim. I ask myself, Is it any wonder I am grateful for Christian Science? I am now trying to find ways to prove myself worthy of all Mrs. Eddy has done for me and for all mankind.—Sam Dodson, Cincinnati, Ohio.
