No unloved, no "displaced persons"; all to be cherished and understood

GOD LOVES YOU

One of the comforting messages which Christian Science brings to mankind is that God is Love and that none can ever be beyond His love and care. No matter what adverse conditions we seem to be in, divine Love has a sure way out.

We are safe in the Father's love because the love with which He loves us is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-wise, and eternal. It is unchanging, impartial, and immortal. In other words, it possesses the character and quality of its unfailing source, divine Principle. The prophet Jeremiah assures us of this unceasing love of God when he says (Jer. 31:3), "The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."

Man is ever the child of this loving Father-Mother God. The term "Father-Mother" indicates the nature of our divine and only true Parent, combining strength, intelligence, and wisdom with tenderness, constancy, and love. This divine Father-Mother knows no evil and is infinitely above all human frailty, whims, temperament, and changeableness. He enfolds, cherishes, sustains, governs His child. He unceasingly maintains man in health, joy, perfection, and dominion.
