I wish to offer my long overdue testimony of the healing and protective power Christian Science. I am more grateful than words can say for having been brought up in a Science home and for having had the privilege of attending the Sunday School. All my life I have been guided and protected by Christian Science.

The ways in which my family and I have been aided by knowing the truth, sometimes through our own efforts and sometimes with the help of a practitioner, are numerous and varied. A few of the more outstanding ones include the finding of harmonious living quarters when it seemed practically impossible during the war, the finding of employment in which my husband could best express his talents after his Army discharge, and the overcoming of various physical ills, such as acute tonsillitis, sprains, pneumonia, and colds. Above all, the understanding of the true man in God's image and likeness has been a never-failing protection.

A harmonious married life with a student of Christian Science is also one of my greatest causes for gratitude. We have a beautiful little girl who is experiencing the joy of being brought up in Christian Science. An outstanding healing for her took place not long ago. She awoke from her nap in great distress, with a high fever, and unable to recognize me, I immediately called a practitioner and then sat with the child in my arms, declaring the truth to her until she quieted. After a short time she brightened considerably, the fever left her, and she rested quietly. When bedtime came she went to sleep, and in the morning awoke her usual happy self, completely healed.
