Grateful for tumor removed and more for hatred healed

Innumerable are the blessings and healings, both physical and moral, which have come to me through the application of Christian Science. Many years ago when I was playing tennis, the ball struck my eye with force. The pain was intense, but this I quickly overcame. Still there was something wrong, for I continually saw something glittering before my eye. When I was in a dark room I saw many little lights. I did my work in Christian Science, but was not healed.

Then one evening when going to a lecture on Christian Science, I felt very much uplifted, as if I walked on air. The lecturer explained clearly that man is spiritual, therefore untouched by material conditions. At that moment I felt as if an unseen hand had put something back into its place, and I was healed.

In our big family two of my sisters passed on with consumption. Then I came down with the same disease. According to the doctor's verdict my case was hopeless. Thanks to Christian Science treatment, however, I was healed in a short time.
