Questions answered, and life remodeled

Little did I realize that shortly after an aunt had explained Christian Science to me it would become all-important in my life. But with gratitude I saw that it answered the many questions that had been pushed to the back of my mind awaiting a solution.

My life has been remodeled, and I feel unbounded gratitude for Christian Science, for my aunt, who gave me a thorough groundwork and was herself such a shining example of Truth understood, for the practitioner, and for stanch and steadfast friends.

"Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place" (II Cor. 2:14). The truth of this verse from the Bible has been proved through my study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. The tempting suggestion had come to me to wonder what I should do in an accident. Had I been guarding my thought, I should have rebuked such a temptation, but it slid past unchallenged. Shortly afterward I drove a golf ball with great force, endeavoring to clear some trees; with like force, however, it returned, catching me just above the eye. It had hit the nearest tree. To my surprise I laughed, instantly breaking the mesmeric argument that I had been hurt and banishing all sense of resentment.
