Heart trouble cured by Science treatment

It is with sincere gratitude to God and to the practitioner who helped me to gain my first healings in Christian Science that I give this testimony. I had been under medical care for five years and had been told by a doctor that one of the valves of my heart was gone and that nothing more could be done for me. It was at this stage that Christian Science was introduced to me. A practitioner gave me treatment, and I was completely healed in two weeks of the organic heart trouble and also of gallstones, appendicitis, headaches, and extreme nervousness. These healings took place about fifteen years ago, and there has been no return of any of the conditions.

There have been no medicines or material methods used by me since my first healing in Christian Science. God has been my only physician. I have learned from the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 167), that "only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power berealized." My husband and our four children have all received many healings and blessings through this wonderful teaching.
